My @asda groceries order was due to be delivered between noon and 2pm. Ten past five now and nothing. I understand things can go wrong, but why no communication? No apology. No revised ETA. Very poor.

24 hours on, @asda continues to be abject. Still no apology, no rescheduling, no communication of any kind. No response to my tweet; no response to my SMS. (And, of course, no actual groceries.) My supermarket has ghosted me.

@asda @AsdaServiceTeam 24 hours on, the website page for my order sprouted an "I did not get my order" link, so I click it.
It takes me a page that says "Our order tracking system is temporarily unavailable", which being interpreted is "Screw you, customer".
(Or, as I shall soon be, ex-customer.)

@asda @AsdaServiceTeam We managed to cancel the order — we think! — by talking on the phone to someone possibly in India. We've moved on, and placed a new order with Ocado. It's more expensive, but not by as much as we had feared. If they deliver reliably, it's worth it.

@asda @AsdaServiceTeam Looking at https://x.com/AsdaServiceTeam/with_replies I see that @AsdaServiceTeam hasn't written anything to anyone in the whole of November. Yet claims "This account is operated 07:00-22:00 every day!"
The contempt for the customer is palpable.

@asda @AsdaServiceTeam Three days after my @asda order completely failed to turn up, I have still not heard one single word from them on what happened, whether the order might still come, whether there will be a refund, or ... well, anything.
I have contacted them multiple ways, but total silence.
